There is really not much to talk about as travel was un-eventfull. As planned, we left Omaha on time at 9AM and about exactly 9 hours later were setting up camp. Much to our surprise, when we arrived at the Broken Spoke Campground there were already a large number of people already here. We checked in quickly and were ushered to the first attempt at placing the camper. The spot was pretty remote, with no scenery and appeared to be in low spot where if, or when, it rains, were would either have swamp and or a river around the camper. We appropriatly killed the messenger about spotting us in such a crappy place, cracked open a beer and went searching for another location. The "messenger" found us a much better postiion where we promptly set up shop.
The night went just as good as we drove to the Full Throttle and spent the evening there listening to a female dance/singing group. We arrived back at camp around 2AM, cooked a few burgers and went to bed. Not a bad first day.
