Saturday Heat Ride to Soldier

The heat was on this day, the on bike temp gauge was registering about 96 and the humidity had to be in the 70's. Stepping outside, you felt as you were walking into the world's largest sauna. Even speeding down the road at 75 mph would have not cooled you off. Isn't it great!? Summertime is the best! Screw you old man winter!

The route was our typical with stops at Pop N' Docs for a few painkillers, then on to Soldier and the Midway Tavern. From there we booked all the way down to Mo Valley and hit the familiar stop Papa Joe's. This group likes to ride so we skipped Moorehead and Pisgah. The day ended at the Dog House Saloon in Waterloo. We seem to end up their a lot!

Showing off my poor ability to remember to take pictures, I only have two and they are not all that great.
